John if I would have copied J&E pistons they would burn through on the intake pockets and the deck height would be all over the place and rock in the bores!!!

speedking,

why do you blow so much shit about wiseco's ?
after all...in the big picture they are your buddies arent they...at least the suits at Dover would think so
dont forget some of us have been around a long time
before the the dover days and back when i did a $5000 buy-in on some garbage arias from a certain californian...no biggy i peddelled them off too
back when honda jim had your desk
some of us know people at all the companys and know some of your guys interrelationships

dont you guys get/share some forgings from their foundry?

certainly no offense to you or the specific company's products you represent...you are both alright by me

i just always see a little undertone of inferiority when you speak of wiseco or any other piston

they all have their specific uses and pros and cons
some being cheaper, lower compression, higher, lighter or heavier and thick walled skirted for certain uses
its application specific as far as i am concerned for shelf pistons

you guys do turn out a quick custom for sure though and thats a big plus :thumb:

but there are MAHLE, CP, and MTC and many other manufacturers with a good product too

good day  :D

Me too.
I've yet to see a decent JE piston.  All the ones that have come through my door are big heavy clunky items.
