my Turbo Busa Project...
« on: July 11, 2005, 01:50:39 PM »
Well it started off life as a red 04LE then went to a black with gold pearl, then stretched with a trac 250 kit and now it is stripped back down getting painted 99K Black and having a Ghetto Turbo Installed that will have the head spacer, cam Degree, Intercooler, 5th Injector and Tail BOV among the other stuff in the kit. Also straight dump and it is sporting the RC Wheels.

I am installing a TFT monitor and a reverse IR Camera so I can just glance down and see the people behind me disapear..Quickly!

Here are some pics..

Naked with new RC's

Naked with +6" Catalyst Tail being fitted

Stay Tuned..The plastics are being painted and the turbo is ordered!

I just talked to the owner of the shop which is a long time friend and he assures me that his guy will get the tank done for me by tomorrow at lunch.

Ray is a nice guy and has never let me down before so hopefully he won't this time either.

My stuff has been down there for 3 weeks now...

It took over 2 months to get my bike painted... :?   and that was with me doing all the labor and graphics - They only had to pull the trigger for the big stuff!

He sat the tank on an aluminum trailer when he took the picture. The chrome look is a reflection.

how much extension is in that swing arm? i wanna do a 240 kit, but i dont wanna add a ton of lenght. 4" at the very most...seems like it would be possible.

The Poison Idea- TMH T61 Ultra kit (500+ hp), 3-deg frame rake, BST wheels, Speigler 8-pot calipers and masters, Mac 0-6 arm, full CF body work.
