nope, not worth the extra couple of horse to me that I would see over a stock header. I've actually heard that some of the pipes have less power down low to get more up high..just a slip-on pc3 and a bmc filter for me..

To bad the pipes would not allow you to keep all you got and give you something all around. Or even a way to tune it for a specific thing such as put it like this or add this or take that away to run track/drag/street and maintain stock curves with added HP, prob sounds stupid.

no not stupid at all. the problem with these liter bikes is that the category is so competitive that they don't leave much left to be extracted from them. I mean on two 1000's that I know of the entire exhaust is titanium (except the wrap on the canister on the zx10) so if you change the header to anythingother then titanium you;ll end up adding weight.

Looks great, MR. Sato came by with Mikiko (his Sales Manager :beechug: ) yesterday to JE as they are our Japenese distributor.

They make awesome stuff.

Looks good...  I've heard nice things about the Sato pipe.

I've got an Area P slip-on on my '10.  Looks sweet, sounds good, but netted me nothing as far as HP.  Didn't figure it would though.  I got a killer deal on it though, so it was worthwhile to me.  8)

yea it's longer then stock but still twice as light..the exit hole is much larger as well..bike really responds better down low (3-6) but seems to have a little bit of a flat spot around 8-9000.
I have a pc3 getting here today so I hope to massage that out of the powerband..

these bikes have the dinkiest air filter too...

I had a Sato full system on my '00 busa. Great sound, about a 9 hp increase over stock with small box mod and tuning , and quality on par with Akro.

Can it be cut down? If so, I think it would look even better (JMO)... :thumb:  :thumb:

Personally I think it would look better if the tip were tipped down more (like Tiforce).
