Wind protection on 05' Gixxer 1K vs the Busa?

Specifically cruising @ 90-100mph ...on the Busa I could not expect any bike to be any better, its awesome.

I am reluctant to give this up.  How is the wind protection on the Gixxer?

Is the Busa your guy's first bike?

What , do you sit straight up @ 90?  If so get a Goldwing then.  :lol:

Get the fuck outta here...the Busa has killer wind protection ....BTW I drove a Gixxer K5 today...it sucks in comparison...even @ 75.

Still though I might get one...hopefully I can tweak it out with a better windscreen.

What...wind protection on a 1K? :shock:

NONE, unless you're trying to protect your midsection.  

I suppose if you're a small jockey, you might be able to squeeze your melon underneath the shield if you lay your head on the tank.

But no...there's no protection at all.

Well I took an extended ride on the Gixxer 1K today....Ive changed my mind, for me @ 5' 9" it protects as good as the Busa.

I might get a little more leg wind but its barely noticable.

It seems to me that the Gixxer seating position is set up so that you get into its bubble pretty easily.

what you can or can't see out of the screen was  an afterthought as the main priority they had in designing that bike was slicing through the wind.
