I hope I never see anyone driving down the road with the wheelie bars on though (although I'm sure i will)
previously owned a 01 blk/gry Busa little of this little of that...oh yeah and a ghetto turbo 320horse/200ft.lb. 8.92@169
Bikeless....for now.

They'll probably sell every one they make. Hell of an idea to sell a factory dragbike.
I see that thing has a Dunlop drag tire? Anybody know anything about that? Size? It is probably just an over-the-Harley Davidson-counter deal...

Im sure it will be in the upper 20s and might be over  30. Heck, HD is even to embarrased to quote a price on their site.Whatever it is, it will be atleast  10K more than its worth. I do like it though, except for the ugly ass seat and wheelie bars.

I saw that last weekend a buddy sent me the link.I think its kinda a cool ideia to sell a drag bike from the factory. Now I will state that that bike is NOT my cup of tea personally.BUT kinda a cool thing to have a drag bike from the factory or even a drag pak or somthin like that would be cool to see other manufacturers get into like the cars used to have. I will also say im  gonna laugh my ass off in Daytona when I see some geek riding down main street with wheelie bars and a slick on his bike that should break the 10 second zone with a pilot aboard that probly couldnt run a 12 :D

I see that it's 1300cc's....which leads me to believe there might be a new version of an upsized 'Street-Rod' in the works. Harley can build an ass-kicker of an engine for this bike if they have the balls to do it...which they might. V-Rod based engine with a lot of cubes could be pretty strong.

So what does under 10 seconds mean?  9.9999999?

Looks pretty cool but with 97 ft. lbs of torque and a dry weight of 510 lbs I don't see it dropping deep into the 9's and it would probably take a perfect run for it to even run low 10's.

When they say that shit, and they do even now    I always laugh and say pull it out. I always give them 2 rules. 1. has to run on pump gas, and 2. it cant cost more then 3 times my bike lol.

There hopeing to get 9's at 35k and I am hopeing for 8's with 17k. go figure.

more info hijacked from DB.com, matt hines weighs 200lbs??? yeah right, he's about 5'6" from what i remember??? he would be one fat MOFO to be 200lb...

There is a pretty good buzz about the new Harley-Davidson Destroyer, the track-only dragbike based on the V-Rod complete with wheelie bars that will be sold through Harley dealerships.

The MSRP for the bike is $31,249 and the implication is that orders from dealers have exceeded the rumored target production run of 200.  No hard numbers from Harley people yet.  AHDRA is considering a class for the bikes which will be heads-up no breakout.  Talk is the motors will be sealed to prevent modifications.

Vance & Hines was highly involved with the development of the bike.  Matt Hines reportedly when 9.48 at 140 mph on the prototype and he weighs about 200 pounds, a bit over his championship race weight.

I have 32.5 into Turbusa, and a lot of that was in trying/trading up on different turbo kits.  I do not wish to make false claims, but, in all honesty,
I can ride my bike around town like a stocker and prolly leave that Harley "drag bike" for dead in a 1/4 mile shootout, on Pump Gas, no-less.
