1350 All Motor Record

Anyone know any details on the bike/motor that Rick Yacoucci used to go 220.5 mph? Really impressive speed, and also quicker than those in the 1650 class.
Does it mean all that boring and stroking is a waste of time?

Thanks maj t. Had a look and there was some intereting stuff there.
Couldn't see any details on his Busa though.
Just curious to get some idea of what Rick did to get 220mph out of a "small" motor. Everyone seems to run bored and stroked motors and yet he has somehow exceeded their performance with less displacement.
Must be something to be learned here.
I'm looking for ideas on what I will do to my Busa engine.
At the moment I am setting my bike up for dragracing in our streetbike class over here. Nothing serious yet, just bolt on stuff. I don't want to spend too much money on it untill I'm sure on where I'm headed with it.
Would like to bring it over to run it at Lake Gairdner eventually though.
Won't be happening in 2006, but maybe 2007.
