Need new bearings in new rims?
« on: August 11, 2005, 12:25:08 PM »
Ok, so this is probably a dumb question, but have some new rims- can I just pop out the old bearings out of original rims and press fit them into new ones?  My originals probably have 25K on them & lotsa life left.

I've heard of people doing this.  When changed my rims, I tried to reuse my old bearings.  I ended up damageing them trying to get them out.
