Due to my motor being in pieces right now and it will not
be ready for this weekend I'm cancelling the event.
I will reschedule as soon as they fix my damn bike.

We will meet at 10am on the 24th & the 'Sheetz' Gas station on
29/211. To get there take I-66 west out take the 29 west/south exit
follow it untill you see the sheetz station on the right hand side just
past the 'Country Chevy' Dealer.
We will leave at approximately 10:30 taking US211 west out of
Warrenton. 211 has alot of elevation changes leading up to
the mountains where we will be hitting some 30-40mph
twisties. Going up the mountain is two lanes, comming back down
is One Lane.
We will stop on 211 at Luray Caverns, There is a cafe/ice cream stand/
gift shop etc. The cafe has burgers/hot dogs/pizza/salads/BBQ. There
was live music outside Luray Caverns today, but I dont know if
it will be the same on the 24th.
From Luray we will Jump back on 211 East and head back up the mountain
and jump on Skyline Drive, There is a fee to get onto skyline for the day.
( $5 i believe ). Skyline drive will drop us at Front Royal where we will
stop to refuel before heading back south on Skyline.
We will get off Skyline once again at 211 and head East torwards
Warrenton. I'll be stoping in Warrenton to refuel again/stretch.
It was 85F in Warrenton today, but chilly going up and down the mountain
so I would suggest being prepared to ride in 60ish temps on skyline.
I will be bringing a camera and a first aid kit just in case. Im hoping that
everyone that comes will have a good time. My pace is not going to
break any Land Speed Records but should be enjoyable for most.
211&Skyline are riddled with Police so please be leave the stunts
and squidly behavior at home.
Speed Limits: 211 is primarily 45( mountains ) 55 elsewhere and Skyline is 35.
This ride is ~200 miles and will take untill between 4 and 6 pm to get back
to warrenton if we have no incidents
