Headlight not working
« on: September 11, 2005, 05:47:16 PM »
I purchased a 2005 Hayabusa, and the Headlight stopped working, are there any fuses that i could check? I have never owned a Hayabusa before, so not to up on where to start diagnostics.

Cheers,

Under the left upper dash panel is the fuse box.  Take a look and see if the a fuse is blown.

You can reach in and check the connectors where they connect to the bulbs without taking to nose off.  Wiggle the connectors and make sure they're on good.  My low beam went out a couple of times while I was riding.  I was just the connector.  Must have vibrated loose.

Nobody asked but, did you check to see if the bulb was burned out?  If I missed it in your post, forgive me.

I will brag that I have HIDs now.  They truly are the cats ass.  :D

You got it Rustman, it was the friggn light bulb! Took it to Suzuki Shop and they, replaced it, what was wierd is that it was not black, like a normal blown blub.

Now that is weird. In the electronics world, they call it infant mortality.
The mystical trend of our time, which shows itself particularly in the rampant growth of the so-called Theosophy and Spiritualism, is for me no more than a symptom of weakness and confusion.
