Help
« on: September 16, 2005, 07:52:27 PM »
Hello I have a 2000 Hayabusa that I am changing the clutch fluid in as it was dirty. I have loosened the lower Banjo bolt to drain it. Then I filled the resevior on the handlebars. And began pumping the lever. I hold it in and loosen the bleeder, then tighten the bleeder and pump away again. The problem is that the system is not pressurising. What am I missing? Does the cap need to be on the reservior? PLEASE Help I am sure I am missing something STUPID.
Thanks,
D

Keep Bleeding. It takes a while.
Try lightly pulling the lever.
EVERYTHING COUNTS WHEN YOU RACE THE CLOCK!

use a speed bleeder takes all the work out of it and you can get them at any autoparts store.  Makes bleeding a simple thing to do in no time.
