rear suspension,links ?
« on: October 10, 2005, 09:47:56 AM »
ok,this may be a little hard to explain, but here goes,i spend almost all of my ride time at the stock r/h because that is how the rear suspension works best

but there are times when a lower c/g would be a real benefit for me,now i realize a lowered bike won't turn as quickly (no free lunch) but what really bothers me is the bike feels kind of soft or loose, even with it lowered just 1 inch,my guess is the longer links soften up the suspension geometry and this is what i feel,or am i way off ?

would shortening the shock be the only way to lower it and maintain decent suspension action ?

Get a Gixx1000 shock (01-04) as it won't really shorten it but has 15 settings vice 10..
