So whats the fastest you have ever really been on the busa? Now I gotta hold out for GPS readings here or if you want talk your shit ok but really Ive seen the GPS compared to the speedometer and its not even close. Speedometer pegged it was onlt going 168

Up here in the lakes region there really isn't much room to get going very fast.

You simply get up to about 150 set it up hammer it and about 5 seconds later you are all done. Either you go to pass someone at 160miles an hour or you are climbing a mountain in a bad situation. That mountin WAYYYYYYYover there is suddenly rushing at you with ripping sky and there is a turn. Or where if you come up on someone over that ridge and they are stopped you are going to die in a explosion of bike parts guts twisted ripped off body limbs spraying cheese and brains everywhere. ....No thanks.

So howfast have you been on GPS?

Oh me? I honestly haven't tried with the turbo yet but before got 168 on GPS

6th gear 10.200 on the tach didnt have the TRE in there and holy crap what a rush,this was about 2 am running down the Xway

194 GPS on my '00 stocker. I've held it at that speed for over 12 miles.
219 timed at Bonneville on my turbo running on 2-1/2 cylinders.
Quick burst to 272 GPS on the turbo on the street.

Had mine up to 150 mph in 4th gear then got out of it.Ran out of room too many cars on highway.
Went that fast in my race car but going that fast on the bike seems a hole lot faster!!!!

190+mph on the Autobahn for 15 minutes straight...
When I pulled over to wait for everyone, I found I had used up a 1/4 inch of rubber.
I later threw a rod that night due to my high compression motor and bad gas!
I now run a Turbo with water Injection...

True, true.
I figured with stock gearing and knowing the speedo is off about 9-10% I guesstimate 160.
Yes I know I'm slow. But not as slow as some others!

220mph indicated.stock gearing.not in the limiter.german autobahn.its even fully legal there.going turbo soon so it will go a bit faster i think.

About 170-172 with speedohealer gps'ed to +-1mph at 150. To much helmet buffering could not stay in it, was looking right over the screens edge. I can tuck lower but not at night as I can not see though the stock screen at 2am

Next year getting a Scorpion helmet and Maxton here I come

I really think I can get into this top end stuff.

<-------- in the mountains near Deal's Gap, elevation near 2000' guessing the straight was around 1/4-3/8 of a mile (hwy 28 to Robbinsville).
Me and Phantombusa started @ about 65mph, JW_Oldbusa and about 10 others were there..

On my 01' Busa I banged the limiter in 6th with a TRE for several miles on many different occasions. I would like to think around 190ish but who knows for sure without a GPS. I did pass the entire pack of bikes that went balls out first and easily passed them one by one until I was alone.

I finally picked up a GPS for my 03' and have only gotten 177mph GPS with 16/40 gearing and NO TRE. I have a TRE but haven't been back out with the GPS yet. I haven't really been thinking about it since I have my dragstrip gearing in it right now.
