Okay I did this mod today. A couple things to mention.

1. To get at the damper all you have to do is remove the bottom plastic section just below the headlight and reach up. Easy access. No need to take off the nose. Four snap rivets and there you go.

2. Filling the darn thing's easy if you submerge it and pump it in and out a few times to purge all the bubbles. Doing this requires a long deep, level, basin to hold all the fluid and the damper. Do it a few times to get all the air out.


Works very well.

Was wondering has anybody used a heavier wt.? Say syn. I know of a guy that did and said he was pleased with the results.
If you're not living close to the edge, you're taking up too much space.
