« on: November 08, 2005, 09:18:59 PM »
got an 01 buss with 28,448 miles and the original clutch is starting to slip under somewhat heavy load. :(  Heard of the 03 clutch mod being better.  any takes?

I've had mine set up a number of different ways...  The stock '03-up setup is great, and doesn't take anything more than using the different fiber plate and two spring washers in the back of the stack.  No reason not to go that route if you're replacing the clutch in an earlier model bike.  :D

Make sure your stack height is min. 1.98
Most times when you order a new clutch pac the send you the wrong fiber thickness.
Untill you give it everything you've got, you won't know if you got what it takes. Dave Schultz

Is there any comparrison between the '03 mod and Brock's clutch mod & clutch cushion mod?

I'm sorry Officer, but it's too damn difficult to keep 1300cc's under the speed limit!!
