OEM plastics discontinued...

My 02 SE has a couple scratches, on the left side panel, was just going to price out a new panel even if you cant really notice the scratches unless your right up close. Went to Ron and Partsfish and it shows the panel as discontinued??

I think I know what you did.  You more than likely looked at the first part number and saw that it said unavailable.  Usually if something is unavailable there will be a replacement part down the line.  Like when you go to the Micro. it says part 1-1 is unavailable but part 1-2 is available.  Part 1-1 and 1-2 are the same thing.  Hope that made sense.

I thought 02 had 3 colors, so 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 are the 3 colors, with one-one being unavailable. just like 2-1, 2-2, 2-3.

midwest action cycle #1-800-343-9065 ,Parts come painted and decaled,OEM.I've used them myself,good prices,way cheaper than anyone I could find for OEM.List for a side fairing was 550.00,I had ot delivered to my door for 410.00.bolt it on and go.Havent used them in about 2 years but I'm sure they will do you wright.

Of course you should call them with any questions you have.

I don't know what the "UN" signifies.

I bought a right side lower from a local dealer almost 2 years ago, they matched Ron ayers price.

The lower I bought, was painted, had the decals, the foam pieces on the backside glued in place.

The only things I had to transfer to the new lower, was the plastic piece that covers the gap between the tank, and lower. The rubber grommets that the 2 large side panel bolts pass through, and a rubber bumper that spaces the lower away from the frame.

I'm going to be gone for a week and won't be able to respond but if you're interested I've got all of the front OEM plastic for an 02SE and I'm goiing to sell it all. It's all brand new never been mounted.

I was going to replace it all on my bike then sold the bike. I've got both lowers, the front nose. a headlight, a new Double Bubble...If any interest I'll check when I get back. I'd take $300 for each lower plus shipping.

Can't respond for at least a week but this stuff is all new and perfect. There's more, new yosh cams, front fender from an 05 silver/black I traded a friend for who wanted the black fender from the SE, an airbox, left mirror, it's all brand new except the front fender....I'll post it all up in the for sale section when I get back.
