Some people run the 2nd battery up on the headstock behind the headlight

Absolute hell trying to get that mess down by the looks of it... :(

Thanks - i am going to work on my POS tomorrow  need to get the starting issues figured out so i can get it tuned to find out where my back half MPH is.

123 in the 1/8th but only 147 in the 1/4...???

I think some of it is gearing...

well im having the same problem you're have 120 in the 1/8 148 in the 1/4, but we already know that the bikes are not mapped and are running lean. If you're a lil less aggressive off the and  keep that front wheel down, you'll get more mph in the 1/8.

I am happy with even 122 in the 1/4.  On stock motor i ran 116.  When i went to 2 intake cams i used to go 118.  So a 4mph gain in the 1/8th going to a 1397 makes me happy.

Just don't know where my top end is...

What does your clutch look like........particularly the fibers? And what clutch springs do you have?

1397 with the cams you have is breathing that much better, you just need the fuel to go with it! I may be getting mine tuned thur. and run in valdosta on fri. so i'll let you know how much of a difference it makes.

CLutches look great!  About 40 passes on them.  4 heavy duty springs and 2 extra heavy duty.  I mean no clutch issues at all...

DF- i told you you should have built and tuned my motor...

busa 2001 - not in parallel.  it's not the cca's that mater - you want the starter to spin faster due to volts...

Too much work to remove the front of the bike and them mess with the headlight housing.  It is a good idea as far as weight over the tire goes..
