Purchased a Muzzy Dry shot kit for 03/1k

has anyone ran this kit and what results have they seen with this product? Anything to look out for on this and I know that it would be very wise to run a MPS FI controller or A&J controller,but can i just run it without it and also what jets should i use to achieve a 40 shot or so.

which power commander do you have? On a 05 Zx-10 with a .036 jet made 50 hp adding 27 #'s to the map from 7000 up at 100% throttle. Down side is that you'll have to switch your map when u want to spray it, really no big deal though. It lost 10 hp with the map set up for the gas and ran it on motor.

Oh I am sorry i have the 03 GSXR 1000 and do not have a power commander at this time but with the MPS or A&J i will not need one is that correct or should i just grab one. I am still looking for a Yosh EMS for the 03/04 1k model to use which has the 3-way map? any insight

My 03 1000 made 152hp motor with a ti force or akro pipe and 198hp with nitrous.  The bike was mapped perfect for all motor.  I had to add 9% fuel at 100% throttle to the all motor map for it to have the correct a/f ratio when spraying.  I only lost 2hp by running to rich when not using the nitrous.  I ran this for one year of drag racing.  I know another guy that ran 205hp with nitrous on a stock 1000 motor.  Just 750 valve springs.  He took out a ring and it started smoking at the end of the year.  Do what you want.  It is your bike.  If it was my bike I would run 198hp again.  2 number 24 jets.  I would say running 35hp would be pretty safe.  Make sure to change out your valve springs and have it dynoed to see your hp gain and a/f ratio.

I have the A&J controller on my 01 1000 and have been running it all summer with a #38 jet with no problems. On the dyno it gained an extra 44hp. The cool thing is that it has different features. It works on TPS and GPS signals so you can set it up so you have to push the horn button or have the nitrous activate on WOT. It adds the extra fuel for you and only on the nitrous. I love it.

I purchased from Spank1 on another board and I think he is usally on here as well. Pretty good person for $150

i have one on my busa.  i would like to get one for my 1000.  I remember someone on this site talking about the a&j box working on both.
