Swerve does too but not on that particular run. He'll match up with equal riders and we all know Mikey has few equals. I think Swerve has made a challenge about being the best 215lbs rider blah blah blah. Dunno how true but he does ride/race.

I weigh almos 200 - i would bet Swerve is almost 225 or so...  They had a midget on his bike - Shawn Gann?  Those bikes fly!!!
Mikey is also gonna run Prostar SS this year...

How do you guy's figure Swerve has the fastest all motor 1000? Has anyone seen a faster timeslip than Lee? I know Lees's bike has been 8.20's all day but I also believe his bike has been 8.02.
Get it how you live!!

Obviously there we no times shown at Bradenton but the bikes looked like they ran 8.40 to 8.60 range today...

Just an uneducated guess.  The were quick but the turbo bike was the one that looked fast.  I don't think it went 7's but maybe - it's pretty had to tell sometimes with cycles.

somewhere in the 50 pages of stuff, ole swerve said he was gonna sit at 67 1/2 in WB. someone said he was at 71 with slick? no doubt his bike is fast on nutz only. too bad all the smack talk he did, and now he will be eating alot of those words. still he got balls thats for sure. wish someone would post some pics or video of it.

hands down for a 1000 to be anywhere close to the 7's is awsome no matter how much trash talkin was done it was all in playin the GAME that everybody here does from time to time to make the race go down and also to make it interesting cause face it how many people will spend that kind of money to drive/fly to a track to see 2 bikes race for just 7-8 seconds none but how many of them whent down there to see all the crap and who talked the most GAME and who got braggin rights after it was all said and done cause that the best part up to the actual race thats the only time the spectators get to be involved

GREAT JOB FOR BOTH OF YOU GUY AND THERE CREW

Someone had to win, someone had to lose. The race was a great one with Swerve running his all motor bike aginst the turbo equipped bike and losing by a very small margin. All there say that if the NOS worked he would have won. Henson stated that Slowe won by 3 tenths, but I doubt that from those I have spoken with. Kudos to all for keeping our competitive spirit alive during the off season.

Was a close race maybe 3 bike lengths it looked like but that can be deceptive and at those speeds even 3 tenths is right on the tail...

Wonder how much spray it would take to go that fast all motor... :D

Well went to Bradenton on Sunday and I can tell you that the track hooks like nothing I've ever seen before, but the wait time will kill ya!  I seen that Serve 1000 run on Sunday, very impressive with a nos system that wasn't performing to it's best and a new rider. I didn't get to see the gruge match between Mikey Slowe and Gann's but I was informed that Mickey got the nos 1000 with the gixxer 1000 turbo on Sunday. You guys say racing is about setup, I really would like to see what the nos 1000 would do with a turbo 1000 if everything is flawless as far as performance. according to the spectators, the nos 1000 lost by one bike, that shows me that if the system was working like a Mona Lisa, then it really would have a dam good race to witness. MAD PROPS!!!! to both of the riders for their performance in Bradenton, you can rest assure there were people all over the track to see that one. I don't know if I'll ever go to Bradenton agin the wait is alittel to much for me driving from JVille and then only get in two runs, but that track is the stuff in my book. Well you riders in Bradenton keep the need for speed and ride with no fear.

Just thinking out loud here, but is it possible that the whole nitrous system not working thing was just part of Swerve's game? It been stated before the He sprays it all the time, but this time it dont work? Most well tuned nitrous bikes with riders of that caliber will out 60' and even out 1/8 a turbo. So why wouldnt he say he would run all motor to the 1/8? And i don think its out of the question to think that there might have been another bottle there somewhere anyhow. So Swerve pulls "the bottle", they race to the 1/8, Gann wins, and Swerve gets all the glory for running on nuts....or so we think.....Fucked if i know!!! just wondering if anyone else thought the same thing, still wish i was there.

Who cares about the glory - a win is a win.  Both guys have fast shit and you are right about N2O bikes owning the 1/8th and Turbo owning the 1/4...usually...

I know the numbers that they ran.  The MPH of Swerve's bike was not that of a nitrous bike.

I dont know one way or the other but hiding nitrous in rollcages and frames and such is nothing new.It could have been done who knows.I liked that damn nitrous bike and was pulling for him to win.Winning with a turbo by a bike length aint much to brag about if the nitrous bike was on all motor.A win is a win but hardly anything to gloat about...an all motor bike only getting beat by a bike length with a turbo bike...Big deal :?
