The first time I saw a Busa I thought it was strange and ugly looking.  Then after a while it grew on me and now I think it looks cool as hell.  I'm sure some people will think the ZX-14 is ugly at first, but will like it later.  Of course there are some people who still think the Busa is ugly, and there will always be some people who think the ZX-14 is ugly.

That's why we live in the USA ... so people can buy what THEY think is cool ... it's a personal choice, and frankly people who bash others for buying what they like are 'tards. :P

you're the only guy that bike will grow on unless someone wants to go back in time when sportbikes had uni seats and no rear cowlings... most likely you'll be going underwater so those fins will come in handy....  :D

As much fookin' rain as we've gotten lately, I think fins would be a good thing. :lmao:

I'm sure the engineers at Kawasaki will make some visual changes in year 2 or 3 due to all the negative peer pressure.  :P

183 hp bone stock is true

Yes I remember when the zx10 was said to dyno at a low 160 thier first year, I seen two at koups kawasaki that same year one brand new one had 148.0 and the other with 3K on the clock and a slip on had 151. I was more suprised by the brand new R1 that had the stock under seat can gutted a filter, a Powercommander and tuning that pulled a 165 and yammy wasn't hyping that bike as much as kaw was the 10.

Also the 12 was the busa killer in 2K, again more hype, I'm sure the 14 will be fast, but beware of the hype and first year bugs

Weird as it sounds, it's starting to Grow on me. Just has that "aura" the zx-11 had. Black, menacing and powerful.

I truly hope it's faster. I hope when "bike killer" cars short of 900hp meet one they learn the top bike benchmark has been raised beyond their grasp even in the hands of a squid rider who can barely tuck and bang gears. If this thing is slower, even if we do get a new busa it won't be a good as it could be if the zx-14 lives up to the hype.

People say kawi has had years to prepare this. I don't see much sleeping happening at Suzuki R&D over these years either. The caliber of the new ninja will decide what Prototype will be the New Hayabusa.

suzie will not revamp the busa, if anything they will discontinue but why would they kill a money maker? if anything gets close to the hayabusas top speed they will get serious about releasing the stratosphere er somethin? I dont see the 14 being any kind of threat and honestly the reason kawasaki has a hard time selling sportbikes is when you compare them to whats out there they really do lack in looks...

this..........................

or this.....................

sorry, couldnt find any images of a 14 up on one....
