Yes you have got to cut more than the diagram. yes, i got it fixed. had to adjust the megaphone simpe fix just twisted it to give me more clearance. you might want to put that oil bypass on. i didn't and it burned a hole in my oil cooler line going down the track. might want to do it before you put the bike back together.
saves time and headache from taking plastic on & off again and again.
