Swerve's Turbo
« on: February 27, 2006, 10:53:57 PM »
Just got everything back from the powdercoater.  I had the frame, arm, and about everything that I could unbolt done in "dash black".  This is a new 4-6 over arm built by Anthony at Performance Trends on Gasoline Alley in Indianapolis,IN.  Got a new straight link to try out to.  This is going to be a project so I'll add pics. as things progress.  I've got a Boost Unlimited kit going on it and just got my lowered fender and 4" extended tail from Catalyst.  I've also had the forks lowered...thanks HOHO.

They are stock....I thought about it, but any aftermarket wheel I decide on is going to be a shiny black finish so I kinda wanted them to match.  Thanks for the compliment.

Got my Catalyst lowered fender and +4 tail in today.  Made a little progress tonight.  The reservoir caps are made by a fellow board member Ghost....they're chrome and look awesome.  These are Buell footpegs to provide a little extra legroom.

Little more progress....starting to look like a bike again.  Motor is back from the builder....thanks dragzooks@indy.  I had to send the swingarm back to the powdercoater...wasn't real happy with how the finish turned out.  I should have it back this week.  Turbo header and dump pipe and a couple odds and ends are going to the powdercoater to be coated or ceramic coated early this week.

Did you have the rearset bolts PC'd, or did you paint them?

Bolts and mastercylinder were just easier to spray.

couple more pics.  Billet fuel rail and machined rear rotor added.  Also, decided to powdercoat the undertail and wheels to match everything else.  Motor goes in tomorrow.
