My buddy, has a 12, had Kwak his whole life
Even he says, u can modify the Busa way easier than the Kwaks
Altho his plate says BUSAETR

Hey VPN. Do you own a Busa or Zx12 or what? If I ever get my 180 rear put on, I will be happy to ride the twisty stuff with a ZX1352! Much easier task than trying to beat my friend on his CBR1000.

How do you know how a Busa handles or are you just baiting the Busanists?

Unfortunately I don't own Busa, ZX-12R, ZX-14, or any other bike
Our Bandit 1200/S is in Nina's name (insurance is mine)
So she's the owner, I'm the holder
BUT
we both tested several Busa's and ZX-12R's last August/September
12R seems to lack power in the low 3000 rpm, Busa was nice
We are now waiting for a test drive on the ZZR1400
We only had a change to sit on one on the Finnish Motocyle event in February

My claims are unfortunately 2nd habd speculation from the Las Vegas event reports
Which you can find from zx14.net and zx14.org (bikeland)
Every single journalist seems to think that ZX14 handles the best
and I just happen to believe them

I'm now waiting for the information about 2007 Busa
It should be 50 pounds lighter and 1397cc engine provides more torque than 14
So I'd love to own an all new HayaBusa 1400, if possible
If not, we will probably settle for Suzuki GSX-1400 (with Givi Screen)

About the new Kwak 14?
I just love it and it seems better than Busa in every possible way
Brand loyalty? Me? Are you kidding?
I just aim for the best (if possible) and this year it is ZX-14/ZZR1400
Next year it might be GSX1400R Hayabusa
So we wait a year, but take a tesdrive or two on that Kwak 14
Satisfied?
More to come:
We both also like the Honda Blackbird
It's just that only BMW & Kwak have totally new 3rd millenia bikes
ZX12R was never quite as good as Busa and to me the low rpm torque was...

Lets see ... In 99 you ran 118 in the 1/8 mile on a totaly stock busa...OK
In 99 you made 300 on N2O on a busa ........OK
In 99 you ran 8s on your stock busa with just a 6 inch over arm.....ok
Damn man you should be running NHRA Prostock, with this kind of motorcycle history you should be able to run 5.90s your first time out ....

Does anyone know what type of back tire RG was running on that ZX-14 at those speeds I forgot to look or ask. I guess I was side tracked a the whole NOS thing when I thought they said earlier on the site that the bike was stock, lowered geared and piped, running 8.70's

Hey That bike has 120 shot on it and I can say that it ran pretty good. 8.48, at 172 and guest what it beat a turbo busa in the finals. Mr. Jones on the busa and Mr. Gadson on the ZX14 8.50 and 8.60 for the turbo hayabusa. I tell you i was sick all night after seeing that at ProStar on Sunday. I don't know how long it will last, but it had pistons upgrade and I think Coby said he was going to put in rods for the next race, they have a pretty nice setup on that bike and they feel it will see the 8.20's very soon. I can't wait to see that. MotorHead I guest the ZX14 is going to make you a rich mad, because everybody will be buying a turbo to keep up with these 300 hp monsters. I guest Mr. Gadson is back on top again and someone has to bring it to get him off that mountain. That bike beats the turbo off the line and to the 60ft. mark and continues to put on the power as it goes down the track, so turbo riders are going to have to get to the 60ft. faster inorder to beat his bike and that's where the race is won, unless you have some serious come back and get ya!! power.

I am pretty sure a Busa motor with some mods and a 120 wet kit could run those numbers...
