Guys, sorry to revive an old topic but this is making me crazy! I went and bought a tri dual tip because I love how this one looks but my pipe sites differently in comparison to this one. Any one know if I need a different center pipe or what? seems my can site much higher compared to where the bracket is. thanks!

Here's what mine looks like, notice how much closer the lower part of the muffler is to the bracket then the chopped one.

The psychiatrist says I'm crazy, but the voices in my head say I'm not!

I have thought about shortening my Hindle can but I would love to see some pics. I shortened my Yoshi RS3 slip-on's 9" and loved the look and sound. Just unsure how a titainium Brock's Hindle will be. Pics would be great.

can anyone tell me if cutting the cans makes it louder or does it just make it throatier.  I have a D&D full systme and want short cans.

Not really, dual D&D cans are much quieter than most would think.   Their singles are much louder.
They have a great sound already, but I was hoping to get an even deeper rumble and better looks.

Well, I decided to join the gang with my Carbon Yosh oval!
One little tip is to cut the can with a 12" chop saw (I used a RIDGID 12" compound/sliding/mitre saw) with a 80 tooth blade. Cut it in a few seconds and straight as an arrow!
Here's a few pics... Oh BTW, it does sound nice (throaty and snappy)... I don't know why, but it does....
Here's a before/after of shorty and minus the decals....

can you post your pics one more time, i also have carbon yohi pips and I want to cut mine.  Did you cut off of the exit end?
