Maxton 200mph 1st event

I'm curious to know how many people have gone to Maxton and did >=200mph during their 1st event??

I'm sure for the blown guys there must be a few and the nitrous guys..

but what about N.A.????

I know DaveO is one, I think Lee is another... anyone know this one???

I made the 200 Club my first week-end out but it was not crowded so me and both my sons had time for trial and error and all ran 202+ on my stock bore/stroke n/a ZX12.

went 212mph on(maxton 2 club member #45) my first trip to maxton on scott guthries street turbo bike. i also went 207 on scotts nitrous busa that weekend.good times!!

1st trip spraying the 12, stock motor, 40 shot: 192 (geared too long)

2nd trip:  199.57

Last weekend:  202.25

Its kinda like Neo jumping from building to building the first time out....almost no one seems to make it the first time....lol....ok except for the guys mentioned above  :x :lol:

I went a smidge under 202mph my first time out on the ZX-11.  I remember half sitting up, in and out of the throttle on a licensing pass at 190mph, but it got oh so much harder as you started to try to go faster.

Nope - March 2002 - and yes 1109 (I think that's what you were asking).  After that I downsized to a stock ZX-10 block and pistons at 997cc, and started going fast in the 1000c class - a much better displacement for a ZX-11 engine!!   :D

I went a total of four times in 2002 and 2003, best official record 221.4mph, best segment (entrance actually) 223.0mph.
