Have problems with MPS switch hookup
« on: April 08, 2006, 09:56:16 AM »
I bought a dry nitrous system from spencer cycle with the MPS horn/starter switch. I want to use the starter button and I hooked it up as the instructions say, but with the bike ruuning I flip the switch for the nitrous and when I hit the starter button the headlight turns off! I found the yellow wire with the green trace about 6 inches from the switch, cut the wire, hoohed up the yellow wire from mps box to the wire coming from the starter switch, then hooked up the orange wire that goes to the wiring harness. Any help would be appreciated. Kenny :?

the headlight will cut when you crank the engine.. to conserve battery..

maybe u'll want to hook up the nitrous switch to the horn switch instead
