« on: April 13, 2006, 12:59:31 AM »
Has anybody tryed this tire or the met m-3 on their 1000. Just trying to decide which tire to go with for the gap in a few weeks, liked the m-1 but would also like to try the Mich pilot powers. any ideas.

01Busa, I put a Qualifier on  2 months ago, It stick,s at the track Great ! I am going on a 80 mile Round trip here in a little bit. So far I have not seen the tire peel, My 1000 rolls the rubber up easy with the BTO  O14 Bridgestone,s I like them alot, But I get about 2800 Miles out of them. I have not tried a dunlop in years, But this New tire is Good, I will post back tonight or tommorow, (82-85 deg)here in East Texas. :bah: How is your Son?

Update! Just got back, The Dunlop peels a little, Not as much as the BTO- 014, You can see small pieces of rubber, The 14 rolls off large pieces, I had 1/4 of rubber on the 14,s the other day( before it hit the wear indcator marks) and then went for a 150 mile ride, And the tire was gone. Later

I'm having great luck with Pirelli Diablo Corsa . They stick great and are wearing good too . They dont seem to feel as loose on the last part of the tire wear compared to the 014's . They are worth a try IMO and they are as reasonable or cheaper to buy around home atleast .
