2 lb bottle mount in a stock swing arm
« on: April 28, 2006, 08:38:51 AM »
I have a 5" extened stock busa arm and I want to mount the 2 lb bottle at the front of the arm. Any of the venders on this site sell some mounts that would work? What are you guys using?

Your title says in a stoc arm..I WAS GOING TO SAY...NO WAY!!

Pro-werks( I think Schnitz sells the for them) sells a pretty nice bracket you could make a [ shaped bracket and possible come off the top 2 dogbone holes to the Pro-werks bracket?

nice bracket !!

if it's a street bike, high b/p may be a problem,i have the bottle mounted on the arm on my zx 12,i have the bottle very insulated, but still have to keep a constant watch on b/p

before insulating, the first 70 degree day i had to shut the bike off when b/p hit 1150 lb's

I have a purge system on it, so I can drop the bottle pressure pretty quick. Sucks though as with the hot weather coming I will have to purge a ton of pressure out of it just to make a pass.
