Hello to you all.  I have a question about a tail mod.  The area that holds the rear blinkers and license plate is what I would like to change.  Can I just pull the plastic rivets and remove this plastic or is this also the bottom of my storage area in the tail.  I just dont want to go out and spend a couple of hundred on a whole new tail.  I would relocate the blinkers and license plate.

you can hack that lower unpainted plastic off where it shows,  the rest is an integral part of the trunk. 

the best option for getting rid of that stuff is the motorhead undertail,  see general forum. 

do a search and you will see all kinds of different ideas.
