I didn't use the chart reference with his combo. If his combo was different now than it was 3 weeks ago i will simply call him and ask, however i do believe TMH and YAG and others in the gearing thread have a clue since some have been much faster than you or i by a significant margin...

16/40 = 175? i've seen a top speed recall of 184 and i run 16/40.
Correct it's 184 mph not 196 mph
yep. last i looked with a stock size tire the top speed of 16/40 is 187ish

sorry my error, i had the liter bikes in my head.. i meant to subtract 11mph from 196.. so 184-185.. as i said earlier what tire gives you 11+mph GND??? since you think CC was running 196 w/o hitting the limiter..
No need to worry about it - since it appears you to make mistakes... Tire diameter and sprocket size aren't the only thingsa that make mph - sometimes more rpm can make a difeerence but i guess you aren't aware of devices that change that either? Who is digging holes now...
