Clutch w/mod ???'s
« on: May 14, 2006, 09:34:35 AM »
I have 1397 brocks cushion,set-up stack height is 1.98in have the slave support also. Can't stop the bike from creeping when staging.
I have 4 heavy springs, and 2 super heavy duty from him. Man it's stiff!

Can I take those 2 super stiff springs out and replace them with 2 of the others? Anyone trying this?

Scared to take stack height away. For slippage on the big end.

So are you saying that the bike is still moving when you have the clutch pulled in?  If so something isn't quite right, you better recheck your stacking and make sure you have them in the right order.  Also make sure that you locked in the last steel.

Have you bleed the clutch? Might be air in there and its not pushing fully.

Sounds like your steel plates are warped. Or not all facing the same way.........Freddie

Well guys I got it working a hell of a lot better this weekend. Pulled a  thick steel, replace with thin, and it still crept.
I removed those 2 super heavy duty springs that Brock has in his kit. And this worked.
1:42-1:45 8 of 11 passes. :P
