FAST BIKES - JULY 2003!!!
« Reply #25 on: July 10, 2003, 05:53:00 PM »
Thanks Voices UK!!  Much appreciated.

As usual we have to either read the article ourselves or find someone honest before we really know what it's about.  FK knows I have to ride 200 miles round trip to get that mag and he hopes I won't so he can write his own article.

So it seems the only reason they didn't pick the Busa is because of the brakes!  This coming from one of the only mags in the world ever to test a 12 (non-restricted) as faster against a borrowed and wrecked Busa.

At least they found a proper Busa to test this time it seems?  Let me get this straight:  They tested top speed on 2 RESTRICTED bikes?!  What kind of nonsense is that other than to prove the Busa's restrictor (may it be damned to hell) works BETTER than the 12's?!

And the pathetic sheep shagger is hanging his hat on that?!
Desperation makes people do strange things.

And another myth to debunk:

quote:
I guess it wouldn't affect a thing if you had heard that Suzuki is Motorcyclist's biggest advertiser either. It works both ways.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

it might if it were true , but according to them it isnt .

I would say the latest August 2003 issue in my hand speaks for itself:

THERE ARE EXACTLY ZERO ADVERTISEMENTS FROM SUZUKI!

Don't be fooled - that's just one of the endless excuses on a mile long list used by 12 owners trying to explain away the latest test results.  With so many results all the same, they've had to become creative!

Baaahahahahahahah!

Here's the one's I can remember even though they are so forgettable:

Bad clutch
too much oil
not enough oil
not broken in
bad rider (Gadson bad?!)
headwind for the 12
tailwind for the Busa
mag is paid by Suzuki
mag wasn't paid enough by Kaw
Busa was a ringer [never mind the dyno results]
Busa was broken in and the 12 wasn't
Bad timing lights/equipment/radar
gearing was changed on the 12
gearing was changed on the Busa
Bad rear tire for the 12
Bad road/test location
12 was restricted (2000 year model)
Busa was not restricted (any year model that wins)

I've heard so many - all of these and more from Jamie alone - I can't even begin to remember them all!

And a small note the Busa takes 24.94 sec to get to its top speed while the zx takes 28.04 sec.

Next time you read the article shit for brains don't forget the rollons which prove who really is KING OF THE HILL

GEOBB aka SPIDERMAN

Thank you very much Spiderman!

Seems the more we (honest people) read, the more we find out THE REST OF THE STORY!

Jamie         has never once given us the straight scoop on a new review - NOT ONCE IN THREE YEARS!

I knew he wouldn't this time.

Thanks for filling in the blanks once again fellows.

FK, please go to the record book and look and see who is the fastest. A far as fastbike magazine goes, I don't subcribe to it but if they put the 12 on top then that's ok by me. The 12 needs some positive results, but for my money it's the busa.........................!!

the UK magazines are the only ones that seem to favor the 12 over the BUSA most of the time.i wonder if it's because they are afraid to really get on the busa, what with all of that power and all.lol.i've had both a BUSA and 12.i actually had a 99 busa, then an 02 12 and now i'm back to the BUSA(02).the 12 doesn't even compare.of cous=rse it's all a matter of opinion and that's my.02.good day mates

Now didn't a professional rider ride both these bikes receintly in front of reps from both companies and didn't those companies send mechs, and techs, and management to oversee all adjustments and repairs to ensure that their bike was running at peak performance as well as make sure each other played fair and stuck to the rules and who won. The BUSA' the same bike that has won since day one, the busa was not designed or claimed to come out and out run the zx12, it just does. (and everything else) Now remember the zx12 was supposed to be the one to out run the Busa, ever since the zx12 came on the scene it just doesn't.

You know, it's Jamie's pre-occupation with canine male genital functions that makes this such an ugly subject.

Not neccessarily - in fact hardly any of them that we know of here:

Kawasaki ZX-12R                 188.9  mph
Suzuki GSX1300R 10.3s @ 143.9
Kawasaki ZX-12R 10.4s @ 146.3

BIKE MAGAZINE - UK [May 2000]
 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa 189  mph
Kawasaki ZX-12R          180  mph
Suzuki GSX1300R  10.31 sec
Kawasaki ZX-12R  10.04 sec

MCN [Motorcycle News UK] March 2000
Suzuki GSX1300R HayaBusa - 189 mph
Kawasaki ZX-12R - 182 mph

SUPERBIKE MAGAZINE August 2002

Kawasaki ZX-12R - 10.39 sec @ 135 mph and 10.31 sec @ 137 mph
Top Speeds - NA/not tested/bikes restricted

Not all the UK mags prefer the 12

superbike magazine August 2002, they unanimously preferred the busa.

performance bikes magazine february 2003, they unanimously preferred the busa.

As far as fast bikes magazine goes, their ability to ride is questionable. I was looking through the june issue the other day, the test of the liter class sportbikes, the quarter mile time for the '03 gsxr1000 was something like 10.7 seconds @ 133mph. The rest were even slower, obviously their testers are pathetically unskilled. So their opinion on anything doesn't mean much to me. So there you have it jamie, the one magazine in the world that picked the 12 is comprised of incompetent rider's. Have a nice day.

Just a question.

It's not that at all oldrider, it's the fact that FK puts his own personal "Spin" on what exactly the article said. Numerous times he's quoted rag reports that according to him, "BLoody ravaged The busa LiKe a dog with BrokEn LegS!". Thing is when ya go and read the article for yourself, the story is MUCH different.

Like i said in FK's last soap box thread, The 12 is not a bad bike at all really. It's just the busa edges it out in the end, and People like FK give the 12 a shitty rep.

The only difference between FK and Baghdad Bob, is that Bob was atleast Funny most of the time.

I've peeped the 12 boards at times but haven't seen any of jamies posts there (didn't really look for 'em). There's quite a few peeps that definatly fill in his spot over there though. Hell I think the board is programmed to say "Hayabugly" whenever you try to type Hayabusa. That doesn't really help prove the aura of confidence in winning is the reigning attitude there. Still some good posts and the whole site is a awesome ZX-12 info database too.

I did see a few of jamies Past thread posts in easyriders archives on the 12 site. They were from different boards, but still the same mad retort. We gave up trying to figure this boy out after year one.

Does F.K stand for fucking kid       But thanx to FK failing in all his endeavors, FK has instead become the Mark of Excellence in the field of Village Idiots.

With that said, FK can stand for:

Flemfilled Kockerspanial
Fucked Krackwhore
FrogFucking Klansmen
FleaBitten Kilt wearer
Fragged & Killed
Fried Kunt
Funny Kid
Faggot Kid
Failed Kawasucky
Flamed(to a)Krisp

And of course there's his "Real Name": Jamie Spears. Plenty of options with that one.

So you are declaring victory as the fastest RESTRICTED bike oh slobbering skirt boy?!!

ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!

60-120 3.79 the Hayabusa trounces the zx at 4.56

0-150 11,62 the Busa romps and stomps all over the poor ZX-12S for slow at 12.76 [OVER A FULL SECOND] And a small note the Busa takes 24.94 sec to get to its top speed while the zx takes 28.04 sec.

Sore defeat?!  6th gear roll on from ZERO MPH?!

ANSWER THE QUESTION!

You happily accept the results of this test brought to us by YOU which means the Busa's restrictor is SUPERIOR to the 12's and the Busa completely TROUNCES the 12 from 0 to infinity and beyond?!

ANSWER THE QUESTION! - WE'RE WAITING!

Signed:
Your friend on the fastest and quickest non restricted bike in the world,

Went to barnes & nobel then to borders books and both Fast Bikes Mags had nothing on any busa or 12, what gives?
What does the cover look like on this issue?
