do these times sound right????
« on: June 14, 2006, 08:42:21 PM »
so tonight i made my first outing for the year and after getting my back surgery done....... finally put my longer arm on  and ripped off a few 9.70's on the busa. there was a bunch of other bikes there runnin mid 10's and higher except for my buddy on a turbo bike runnin low nines and my buddys Vmax runnin high 9's.

so heres the question there was a guy on a gixxer 1000, not sure if it was a '05 or '06?? anyway he was only runnin 10.50's but was turning 146mph???? dude said he wieghed 216lbs, bike supposedly only had a pipe and pc on it??? i cant beleive with those mods and runnin 10.50's that its pulling 146mph, hell i was only pulling 140.xx, i think the dude has got some spray stashed on it to pull that mph with that slow of ET, so what do you guys think?? 146 resonable for a 200lb plus guy on a 1000 running mid 10's?? seems odd to me???

Has to be running the juice....I run 146mph on motor with my busa...and I only weigh 155lbs. E/T should be faster but...alot of that depends on the rider.

Use small words when talking "smack" to me ...you'll be eating them later!

I still say he is on motor, I weight about that and ran 144 with my old busa, 142 with my current busa. Those bikes MPH more than a Busa in the 1/4 from what I have seen.

I'm not saying 146 is not possible at all as i have seen guys run those numbers also, BUT not when only running 10.50's, the guys i saw running those mph were in the nines
