I bought a tach adapter from schnitz and i can't get it to work. I have taped it into both the wires on the coils and no tach output from either. I am using am automeeter tach for testing and i have tried it on 4, 6, and 8 cyl settings. Hope you can help. My bike is a 2000 if that matters.
