Anybody know anything good about the D&D full system 4-2-1 I am thinking about buying but wanted your input first.  Thanks in advance.

Sounds really good, but power gains are so-so.  What are your objectives?

I have bolt ons now but found a D&D full system for maybe $300 or $400 normally retail at $875 and this system is new still in box.  This is only reason for thinking about buying it. (cheap) That why I ask for input to find out if it is worht it even though it is cheaper that Yosh.

D&D Full System I have questions?

I bought one on e-bay, but while waiting for it I read on a Hayabusa board (here, Labs, or TMH) that it doesn't have enough back pressure, had small hp gains and it is obnoxiously loud. My excitement is somewhat dampened.

I have taken a couple measurements. Stock muffler outlet dia. is about 1 3/8" or 1.5 sq in. D&D is about 2" dia. and 3.14 sq in. The D&D has twice the outlet area as stock, so I'm going to experiment with restricting that to somewhere between the two. It worked great on Triumph TT pipes in the 60's, so wish me luck.

My bike will likely never see a dyno, so I won't be able to give you any scientific results, sorry. I'm installing pipes next week as I get time.
