I thought it was rather strange also to see the A/F drop so much, although I dont know what could be up.  Everything seems to be running perfectly.  It might be the fact that I have such large secondary Injectors (1000cc).  WHen they come on line, and I'm talking just barely coming on line, like .14ms, the A/F drops way down......  I have logged some 10.1 -11.1s in the past.  Today I made a run, I set my Rpm-on at 3000rpms, eased out of town, put it in 6th and eased just passed 3Krpms.  I tried to keep it as steady as I could in the 3100-3300 range which put me right at 70MPH.  I ran for 5 miles and came home to check the data logger.  It was in the 14.5 range, so I backed out more fuel using the Mixtrim feature. Im at -21 now, I started at -16 and it was fat as hell at that setting.  It will be tomorrow morning before I can look at the log again, but I'll post the results for anyone interested.

I get 40-44 on the commute to work, highway. I would not be happy with anything less. The only thing I have changed which MIGHT affect the mileage would be bolt-ons. My TRE is in the toolbox drawer.  :moped:

I usually get 36 mpg on my bike.  $12 to fill up a tank and I mostly do commuting to work on it.  Bike is stock.

Although I've measured 60 mpg once on a low-speed trip and generally get high 40's, it's interesting how things change over the years.   I also ride a modified Kawasaki H2 (750 cc 3-cyl/2-stroke) that gets 20 mpg if I'm lucky and usually less than that (60 miles/tank is pushing it).  My old Suzuki T500 (mildly tuned 2-cyl/2-stroke) gets mid-40's and my GT550 (another mildly tuned 2-stroke triple) does 40.  The H2 is the "wildest" of the old bikes and while as much fun to ride as the 'Busa, it has half the power and only does half the mileage!  I've had lots of older-technology 4-strokes that never did close to what the 'Busa does.  It just shows me the impact of computer control, FI and Suzuki's fine engineering.

60mpg on a hayabusa?  BULLSHIT!

i rode my bone stock bike at 55mph for over 45 minutes and never registered anything close to 60mpg.   49mpg indicated is the best i was able to achieve from a stock bike,  i get about 35 now.

With my 17/43 gearing I was rideing a back road in 6th doing about 40-45 mph (I love busa's my 750 would have stalled haha) and I was showing 50mpg on the meter but I think it stops at 50. That being said I didnt refill and measure after the 50 mile ride. I still think if you are geared right and run low enough you could get 55 mpg, but its so damn hard to do 45 mph all day. Maybe next year I will test it, just go for a nice slow cruise and see how it goes..... hmm maybe I can find some HD's to ride with there slow enough

After a couple of 3000 mile road trips I have found a couple of things.

I average right around 40 to 41 when I start, after riding for a week or so the average always goes up to 44 to 45. Riding style, speeds etc. does not change. Also my mileage is always better in the higher elevations than home (900ft average).

Quijinn said 'You are just to rich in cruise need to pull some fuel out. '   How do you 'pull some fuel out?'

Also at what rpm do you guys shift to increase fuel ecconomy?
