06 Busa dry kit problems..HELP!
« on: July 12, 2006, 07:06:47 PM »
06 busa dry kit-pretty standard(Brock mods)  36 jet in center of airbox, no filter, stainless lines, bottle in hump.  It sprays good, fogs box when sitting still-all seems great.  At track or on the road I get NOTHING.  no ET, NO mph NO seat of pants improvement.  I have changed lines, solenoids, nozzles, jets, bottles.  I have made a short curved siphon tube (just in case) NO HELP(did not need this on my 01).  I had this exact same set-up on an 01 busa that ran great.  For some reason this one gets nothing.

Does n20 go bad?  The bottle has been sitting up for 6 months(75# bottle) I fill my own.

any ideas?  ANYTHING??????????????

I have an appointment for dyno tomm(7/13) and would like to fix problems before I go.

well it may or may not be spraying moving-it definately sprays when still and I can hear it.  Bottle pressure minimum 900 max 1000.  No siphon tube untill a day or so ago....I made a short curved one like pictured in another thread on here just to see if it helped.  I did not have a siphon on old bike with no problems but I'm running out of ideas.

I was having a similar problem with the bottle mounted in the hump (where it used to work fine).  I said "fuck it" and had an aluminum mount welded to the swingarm in front of the tire, bottle upside down, no siphon tube.  Works like a champ now.  8)
