Front Forks on a Busa

i have an 01 Busa and i wanna change the forks to either the gold or the black on the new gixxers..

will the black forks that are on the new gioxxers fit on a 01 BUSA?? if so what year is best and what bike 600-700-1000??

anyone got any?

i think (dont qoute me im not positive) the 1000 forks need a collar on them to get them to fit

the neck on the busa and 1000 are the same, but you'd need the triples, wheel, brakes, and fender from the 1000 as well.... not to mention some creative steering damper mounting.

The Poison Idea- TMH T61 Ultra kit (500+ hp), 3-deg frame rake, BST wheels, Speigler 8-pot calipers and masters, Mac 0-6 arm, full CF body work.

but i my self havent tried it

yur are correct...to use the 1000 forks on a busa you have to sleeve the lower clamps...but you also have to invent that sleeve, cause to my knowledge nobody sells one.

I've got 05 busa forks on my 00. I bought them for the TiN coating to help reduce stiction. The forks have been revalved, reshimmed and the dust boots modified. They work great now.
