full tri-oval yoshi system-what to with with lambda sensor
« on: July 19, 2006, 06:10:48 AM »
Hi All,
After a brief fling with a kwaka zx10r i am proud to say that I have returned to a real mans bike....a 2005 busa.
Anyway I kept the full yoshi, PCIII, K&N etc from my 2002 busa and have treid fitting to this one but it has a lambda sensor in the exhaust whereas my other busa didn't and the yoshi system has no place to fit one. Please can anyone tell me if this can be disconnected and bypassed somehow or what if any damage will be done (I have ran it unplugged and I get the F1 code flashing even with the PCIII plugged in.

Oh and by the way its bloddy hot here in little old england, cant wait for winter riding honest!  8)

Its ok I just found out from Dynojet UK, you have to pull out pin 11 on the ECU (Black/brown wire)

correct...but what this wire does is disangage the fi light perminatly...in mine i bought a resistor from dynojet which plugs directly in the o2 sensors plug and gives a standart value to the ecu ...so no fi light on but still operational...
frankly my dear,i don't give a damn...
