I had a stressful time figuring what I wanted as well.
there was actually 2 other designs previous to now
and I had them change it
for me I don't really like multiple colors
1 of the main reasons I chose my bike
then I had them paint it a dark charcoal gray
and then added one-off touches: smoothed the brake res & vent holes in the tail, seamless headlight

You just gotta find what you like??
(for me I love dark colored vehicles-usually gray or navy blue)
what color is your bike now?
and what do you intend for it? shows? performance?

I'll be glad to help :thumb:

Black and blue 2002, the fastest color lol 8) i took off all the decals and i am doing major bodywork mods to change it up but keep the original paint scheme. I was thinking replacing the kanji with gator glass customs so they lite up where the decals would be?, One color, maybe RED? and designing my hump design? I think simple is better and one color i agreee, it gets to complicated and i think u pay for it$$$$$$$$$, would love some feedback?

i wonder if they will cut into carbon fiber body work?

The Poison Idea- TMH T61 Ultra kit (500+ hp), 3-deg frame rake, BST wheels, Speigler 8-pot calipers and masters, Mac 0-6 arm, full CF body work.

Bonedust, you being a graffic desiger could get your spider logo put on your bike? it willl light up with LED's and look pretty trick. you could place it on your windscreen or the hump. I think thats a great idea for you? check out there web site gatorcustoms.com , let me know what you think. :grn:

don't know about that one
I know they mold the plastic to make it seamless

You can always call ask Ron...
I will say this, they are lightyears ahead of everyone else!
and you get what you pay for
I remember when I 1st called them up:
Ron, Randy & I were brainstorming. And they told me, "With every bike we do, we want to set it apart. We want those one-off challenges. We don't want your bike to look like the last bike we did."
well they definitely made me a believer

BTW I always liked that spider logo 8)
I know they will paint your CF bodywork :thumb:

Just from my experience:
I would go with probably silver with yours or maybe white(would blend nicely w/ the black/blue paint). Look at my pics, my LED's are ruby red. Notice how they light up a lil different? I told them I wanted a blood red paint w/ silver outlines(a lil extra, but not much). But just like mixing paints you come up with different colors, the same w/ the LEDs. I'm happy with how it turned out, but I guess I just didn't think it thru on what color would ultimately shine thru. The blood red paint w/ ruby red LEDs blended a lil differently.

Now they can do clear panels(I saw one on a silver Busa. Thought it was black paint, til I saw it light up red. You could see right thru it.) & red LEDs. But I don't think it would look good on a dark bike til it lights up. The silver & white shine thru much better. And wouldn't clash w/ your paint.

They will do any design you want on the hump. But it does cost extra. I did that with my front turn signals. What did you have in mind? Originally I wanted a falcon on there instead of the kanjis. But for me, I wanted it to seem stock(not attract too much attention-kinda of like a sleeper car-you don't know it's potential-unless you look under the hood).

Oh BTW they can literally paint anything!! They painted several pieces, I don't even have pics for. Like my license plate LED housings, frame plugs, grab bar. They actually paint cement trucks as well. So they're very durable, to withstand the cleaning those trucks go thru.

I sent them a bunch of pieces, after a horrible powdercoating job. And they painted & touched up-what I felt was now useless. And made some one-off pieces in the process. I highly recommend them...there is nothing they can't do!

I tried in the garage(still raining outside), but w/ the flash off it came out blurry.
W/ the flash on, you could tell it was lit up, but not like in person...
Will try again later, when weather permits
