Need help splitting 04 1000 cases

I need help splitting the 04 gsxr 1000 engine cylinder case.Is it a secret to getting them off.I have been using a rubber hammer tapping on them for no luck.it is part the hlds the piston.

Go over the diagram carefully, once you all the bolts out, the cases nearly fall apart (seriously, be careful). It's putting them back together that's a bitch - pain in the ASS lining up the transmission to the forks.

There is one bolt in the middle to get the cylinders off ... make sure you havnt missed any .

Your kiddin me...I thought they were one of the EASIER case sets to do....since you don't have to worry about the mains also. Ya just need to get them level so the forks stay in place while droppin the case down....

You should try a Vmax or old FZR case.....

 did you get the bolts under the starter?
