Tom,

Still waiting on the turbo from Motorhead. The plan is to run the Hayabusa this weekend at the Texas Shootout and then pull the engine out. I have another one built with spacer, studs, springs and turbo pistons ready to go in. Waiting on the S2000 injectors and RPM lockup clutch. Already have AMS1000, DL32, LC1 with AF gauge, Catalyst 8 plus tail and front fender for 120/60/17 Michelin Pilot Race tire to go on the bike. Hope to have it back running for the Texas Mile if I can find time between all the T/A's planned for this fall. I was going ask you for a map for the S2000 injectors to get started with. Not sure what Motorhead will send with the kit. Jen will be at the track Friday night to get some practice runs. If there are no major problems at work then I hope to head up Saturday. See you then.

Nice project there racetrack. Hey what time are you guys going Sat. the shootout page says gates open at 2:00 and the elim. start at 3:00. but on the houston raceway park site it shows gates to be open at 12:00 and elim to start at 1:30. any body know which one is right? See you all there.

The e-mail that I got yesterday from CD Watson says: 2:00 & 3:00 for Saturday and 9:00 & 10:00 for Sunday. I would bank on the e-mail being right and not the track. I copied the times below.

Fourth Event for the year is Saturday 08-26-06 at Houston Raceway Park  www.houstonraceway.com
 

2:00 PM    Gates Open

3:00 PM    Qualifying (2 rounds)

5:30 PM    Eliminations

 

Spectators are $15 each, 12 and under are free

 

Rainout from San Antonio will be on Sunday 08-27-06 at Houston Raceway Park

 

9:00 AM    Gates Open

10:00 AM   Qualifying (1 round)

11:30 AM   Eliminations will begin
