Yep, kind of close to Corpus, not to far for most Texas folk. Bring the turd for a spin!

GND111, It ain't no Busa. Next time I'll have to run MRX01 in it and post up the numbers. It's real nice on the street and she likes to get up and go even down low. I was stuck in traffic for about 1 hr at 86F to day and no overheating problems so I am very pleased.

Hey, I want a signed pic with Russ in a hospital gown and the bike and helicopter taxi in the back ground. With a quote on the top about the guy who slid faster than most can ride!........... and on the bottom he could be asking if any pretty girls would wipe his nut sack!!!!!

Sorry, could not resist...... But that would make one cool poster, I would pay $20 bucks for a signed one as I think most on the board would. It'll be good to see ya again.

I'm going to hire someone big to kick Bryans ass.  I was on morphine when I needed my sack wiped.  A guy can't keep a secret around this joint.
Yeah, it made 500 hp at 32 psi.

Never said it was.  A 1287 is a 12R bigbore kit that makes about identical numbers as the ones you posted...

Great day today!! Excellent place to see what your bike will do. My little GSXR-1000 performed well today 230.375 mph! But  I was thinking 1/2 mile would be lots of room to stop!!! Well I used up every inch and now having some problems with my front breaks If I can fix it in the morning I'll try a few more passes. If not then the 2000 mile drive back home with a very good run here!

Thanks to all the organizers!!
Maybe this year?

Yeah, Gary said you might be coming.  I haven't seen you in a while, so I was hoping he was right.  I think he was too after he hurt his bike early the first day.  Poor Gary.  He just can't buy a break.

Congrats to Carl (gixxerfixxer).  He's a heck of a nice guy (Canadian or not).  I estimated his best run to be 85-90 mph from looking at his bike.     The man knows how to make a pile of parts go fast.  Expect to see some better numbers from him in the future.  230 and change is a good start.   :thumb:  You out did your Bonneville record in a mere mile.  Very Nice!

Hope your 2000 mile journey back to the great white north is a good one.   :D

Sorry folks, one more...

Saturday morning was nearly perfect.  The lows were around 50 degrees slowly climbing to around 80 degrees later in they day.  You know how it is the first day:  Drivers meeting, track ride through, etc. before the games begin.  Then you have people getting their last minute tweaks in before they run.  Then they have to get their game face on.  What that boiled down to was that the best air of the day and AN ACTUAL SLIGHT TAILWIND didn't get fully taken advantage of by everybody.  Sunday, the temps were the same and the humidity was low.  We were at less than 400 above sea level.  The winds started picking up by noon and it was starting to look like Sunday last March.  It never got quite that bad, but there were a lot of runs made with bikes leaned over to the right a few degrees for the whole run.  I know that did not help.

BTW:  There was an awesome Viper there that ran 218 and change.  Very, very impressive.  Now get off your asps and come down next time.  It's the best concrete track in the country.
Yeah, it made 500 hp at 32 psi.
