Hi all I'm hoping to make it, My bikes working well, Just need to get psyched up for the drive there but as always my line of work can change my plans. Any one else from Canada going to make it

Wow, I thought the drive from Austin was far.

Check with the Texas Mile people as they might know of some people coming from up North.

I am heading up there... Cant wait to meet alot of you.. I am driveing in from Corpus christi just right in my back yard only takes me 1 hour to get there... wont be partakeing in the event this year but I hope 2 next year..

This is Paul's bike.

He went like 198, 197. Then the SLEEPER stepped in with some coaching,

He went straight to 202.?? it was almost 203.

I believe I should go 200 on my next outing, all motor.
Then I'm gonna spray the guts out of it and hope I can stop in time.

It may be a couple of events down the road, but the "SLEEPER" will return!
I hope everyone here gets to make it, so we can have a good time.
We'll even get Entropy to camp out with us.

I'mhaving some financial problems that have caused me to possibly miss this event. I'm trying to sell one of my guns to get the cash for the trip. I should have had all my ducks lined up for this event before I offered a ride to John N. I am trying my best to get the cash together so I can make it to the mile. This month has totally blown my savings out of the water. I just hope I have not inconvenienced you Speed King.

No worries, I cancelled my ticket (cost me $ 100.00) and I will hold the extra room that Karl booked until I know for sure you are out or another turbo bike is available for me.....

WHen I get my finances in order, I will refund the $100.00 because I feel as if it were my fault to begin with. Im still not out of the race, it's just not looking very good at this point.

Team FKAWI will be there running a Turbo Busa and a NOS Busa. I'll also be bringing a ZX-14, two R-1's, and two K-1200S's in the trailer that belong to friends.

thanks jim, i would be happy if i can go as fast as that little 1397 of yours ran at maxton. Are you sure thats a 1397 or did dave do something else to that motor?
