New Nitrous sytem in town
« on: September 03, 2006, 12:30:50 PM »
Dragbikedirect will be releasing one very soon that uses 05 gsxr1k t-bodies that are adapted to fit a busa head . the 4 extra injectors compensate the nitrous so its like a super trick wet kit . the controllers are the key to the setup though . the fuel and nitrous control with this system is like none other .

here are some pics of the controler, a  sparybar, and a set up with the 05-06 gsxr 1000 throttle bodys

You really have to look at what you get with this system !

modded gsxr1k (05-up) throttle bodies that fit a busa head (with all injectors)

2 billet fuel rails

aftermarket fuel system (pump/regulator/plumbing)

nitrous system (solinoid/plumbing/elec.   etc)

control box - let me tell you about this piece ! this is a time based controler  that uses windows based software . you can draw up a nitrous/fuel map similar to like you do with a power commander . it controls the nitrous solinoids , as well as all 4 secondary fuel injectors !
we bench tested the prototype last month and should be testing the production controller within the next couple weeks on my "FRANKEN-MOTOR" .

Also note the billet nitrous spray bar supplied with this kit...

and if youve clicked on the link above to the PDF file . that software was no cheapo quick little write up ! this is some impressive stuff with alot of time , risk , research and development (and money) invested !

yup , 5 pounds of those should do it.  Just kidding this will be relatively affordable.  We are looking for ways to cut corners without compramising quality.  Look for the entire kit with controller, spray bar, lines, fittings solenoid, modified 1000 tb's (CORE REQUIRED) software  etc etc etc... everything but the bottle. in the very low $2000 range

zig , we go back to the dyno tomorrow with a fresh motor thatll allow some bigger numbers .

motor just has rods , headwork and cams . thats right... were dumping it onto STOCK PISTONS ! lets see what thier threshold is ;)
currently using a ti-force sumo but soon to be replaced with a sidewinder .
very conservative build , maybe 175hp on c-16 .
riding it to the dyno session with my girl on the back , hopefully riding it home

The controller does exactly what it supposed to do, however there are three other components on this bike.  one of them Fucked up.  We stopped before anything got hurt, and we'll be back at it tomorrow.  As a side note I feel pretty confident using the Indianapolis yellow pages as a bullistic cup.

Here's what we came up with tonight. We went VERY conservative.  Emptied five pounds of nitrous thru a stock piston motor with very little work.  Here are a couple passes.  One on motor, and one on spray.  We pulled out WAY to much timing and added WAY to much fuel.  We started adding fuel, and putting timing back in but ran out of nitrous.  We'll be back at it tomorrow.  The controller is performing better than we could have hoped. Oh, yea, F*** you Rob
