partially streamlined, only going 17x.   maybe a BMW record,  definetly not a record for a 135x cc bike.

I think it's a record for BMWs, not motorcycles in general.  I think they also got some record for a two up mile also.  Some obscure race classification or something?  They're fine machines, but no Busa beater on the flats (or anywhere else...  :P)
