it could be used with either, if used with a slider probably just use a button to hold it on 2 step, main focus is to use them with a hand clutch.

Does this 2 step have a closed negative lead when engaged like the MSD , to hook to a WOT switch?

           Thanks Donnie

I am not 100% sure what you are asking, what do you hook it to the WOT switch for?

When running nitrous on a wide open throttle switch. On the MSD 2 steps on cars ... there is a closed negative circuit when engaged. You run the closed negative to the negative lead on the WOT switch .... When you push the button the 2 step comes on , negative closes and WOT switch doesnt have a ground , release the button and the negative opens and WOT switch is armed. Just trying to figure out how to run this 2 step with a WOT switch.

It wouldn't be hard at all to wire in a relay to NOT let the WOT switch work when the clutch is pulled in.

Sorry Yag it's a 2 step / shif tlight controller only, no kill box built in for air shifter, but Matt does make a hella nice kill box that could go with it.

thinking of getting the two step.
Two step and kill box built into one would be a gauranteed sale.
I already have a new mps kill box, but would buy a two step and kill box built into one so that I would only have one box instead of two.
Tired of having a bunch of boxes every where.  Not much room on a turbo 1000 and like to keep it clean.

That is a possibility maybe one day, but not anytime super soon that i can see.

Having a mps box right next to the 2 step makes it an easier install as the coil connections can be made to the 4 brown wires of the MPS box.  Also if you want to do auto-shift output the mps box would be right there.

I would need to wire in a relay for the auto shift to work?  How would I go about wiring this up?
I already have a relay for the mps box.  I had it wired strait to the horn button, but I guess that was not good enough ground.  It would miss shifts all the time.  horn activates relay wich passes the mps ground strait to ground. Shifts every time perfectly now.

Relay would all be prewired into the 2 step box for you :D

Greg,
we will be ordering ours shortly. Do you still have a data logger? have you done any logging and could you post a datalog of your rpm with the 2-step?

Got the 2-step installed on teh turbo busa. Sounds great. Should have it at the track within 2 weeks.
Excellent product and the most well thoughtout wiring harness I have seen for an aftermarket part (even though I chopped it up and changed it for our bike...)
On a stock or mildly modified bike, installation would be extremely simple.

Excellent product Greg!
I have another one to install already. (Ordered by "Bart")

Cool stuff!  Yep I remember Bart.

What did you chop up out of curiosity?  Anything we should be doing differently?  We try real hard to make it as simple as possible.
