Headlight toggle switch

simply, what wire is it that i need to cut to put my toggle switch on.  i cut the orange w/white but i don't think that was the one.  Somebody please tell me which one.  Thanks in advance.

dolphin, thanks however i must be stupid because that post just confused me a little bit more.  and i did a search but i was unsuccessful. many post about it but not one that tells me what wires to tap into.
