you must host the picture and then link it inside the imige brackets
[img][/ img]
but put it in without the spaces and that will alow you to post a picture

I use www.photobucket.com.  They let you upload your photos onto their site for free; then they assign a web link to the photo and you add the link onto your message, like PINKY said.
