My White Backlit Gauges
« on: November 10, 2006, 07:14:27 PM »
Sent my gauges to Scott at BlueGauges.Com and he changed it all to white with blue signals & neutral light plus a white high beam.  The gauges look so much cleaner now at night!  My camera really sucks at night time pictures, but got a video of it them with the shiftlight. :)

For being ugly??   j/k!  I know they're easier to see, but IMO I can see the white more sharper.... or maybe I need to update my contact prescription. :)

White lights degrade your night vision. That's why only red guages are used on ships. I don't think it matters in the city, but it would on a ride on a dark road.

Did you get the bright red needle option?  I can't tell, but it sounds like a cool idea, based on the pictures on his site.
Yeah, it made 500 hp at 32 psi.

Nope I didn't get the bright needle option, that's only for the reverse indiglo.  My needle is brighter with the white LEDs over any color (other than red of course) though. :)
