Ive allready got the Radardetector on the stem stans and now looking for a mountig location for my new Garmin V GPS ....anysuggestions?

I have the same GPS.  However, the way I mount it, using a modified RAM mount, you can't use a stem stand at the same time.  If you want a pic shoot me an email.  busabluto@yahoo.com.  If you like it I can hook you up with what you'll need.  I also installed a DC power plug for it...no more batts dying!  Makes the GPS more useful, I use it all the time now.

you can use the stemstand& the rammount at the same time also stemstand has a double cradle for radar& gps setup, I have a streetpilot3& rammount setup these mounts are great see them at www.cycoactive.com full list of parts from ram.

Thanks your isdeas prompted me to email www.motorcycleradar.com where I bought the full package deal with the stem stand screacher switch escort 8500 and Im asking thme whta thye have for gadgets....I will make some thing up with small U bolts from the hardware store if someone doesnt come up with a side mount system

As for the GPS Holy shit I cant beleive this thing its just amazing..cant wait to see how fast Im really going when that 185 needle is pegged for a three count One thousand and one one thousand and two one thoudsand and three foo the throttle Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrvibration a 140vvvvvvvvvvvsanity in view vvvvvvvvvvvbegin to breath again ...

it came with a stand
\i had mine on the top clamp till it kept shutting down up top
dont loose that thing
the 5 is the same one i lost
still pisses me off
got an etrex now so who cares if it goes tnmbing

Ive decided Im going to fab a bracket that will bolt under the two gas tank forward bolts bend back and make a platter for the mount that came with the GPS. Its such a fine system I really want to use it.

i think that would be a good mounting spot
